The Historic Dallas Jail is a restored 1848 landmark located in Dallas, North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte. We host intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, and celebrations in a setting full of history and warmth. We recently celebrated our brunch wedding at The Historic Dallas Jail, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. This historical venue is brimming with vintage charm and unique character—it provided the most stunning backdrop for our special day.

Our event had 45-50 guests. We utilized the gorgeous dual fireplace downstairs for our ceremony and held our reception upstairs. The space was the perfect size, and we were so thankful to have found an indoor venue that could accommodate both parts of the day so seamlessly. We were also delighted that this venue had all the decor we wanted—it made the planning process so much easier! Although, we did not need much- this venue is beautiful on its own.

The staff at The Historic Dallas Jail were absolutely incredible. Their attentiveness and professionalism were second to none. Throughout the entire event, we truly wanted for nothing. If there were any hiccups, we wouldn’t know—they handled everything so seamlessly that all we had to do was enjoy the day with our loved ones.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful and memorable the venue was. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, charm, and an impeccable team, The Historic Dallas Jail is it.
