A Sweet Celebration for Angel & Matthew
Angel and Matthew officially tied the knot last month with a private elopement, but they didn’t let their wedding day pass without celebrating with their nearest and dearest. A few weeks later, they gathered 32 of their closest friends and family for a cozy dinner party reception right here at The Historic Dallas Jail.
From the moment guests walked in, it was clear how much thought Angel had put into the evening. She had a beautiful vision for how she wanted the space to feel, and she made it happen with her own unique decorations and personal touches. From handcrafted details to personalized napkin rings, every element reflected their personalities and love story.
Dinner was a true Southern feast, catered by Taste of Culture. The room was filled with laughter, happy chatter, and the clinking of glasses. Guests mingled, enjoyed the food, snapped plenty of photos at the many photo-worthy spots inside our venue, and most importantly — simply spent time together.
To end the evening, Angel and Matthew chose a bubble exit — the perfect whimsical send-off for such a heartfelt celebration. It was a beautiful reminder that wedding celebrations come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones spent gathered around a table with the people you love most.
