Bailey & Travis’ Laid-Back Courtyard Wedding at The Historic Dallas Jail
There’s something truly special about an intimate wedding, and Bailey & Travis’ day at The Historic Dallas Jail in Dallas, North Carolina was the perfect example. Surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family, they created a celebration that was laid back, meaningful, and full of personal touches.
Getting Ready at The Historic Dallas Jail
Bailey began her morning getting ready in our bridal suite here at the venue, with plenty of time for coffee runs from our neighbors at The Traveling Sip in downtown Dallas, NC. One of the perks of hosting your wedding at our venue is how close we are to local shops and businesses that make the day even more special.
Courtyard Ceremony
The couple chose a noon ceremony in our cobblestone courtyard, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The crisp fall air, the sound of the fountain, and the intimate setting created a timeless backdrop for their vows. With 50 guests, the space felt full of love and connection without ever being overwhelming.
BBQ Lunch in the Cell Block
After photos around our historic venue, Bailey and Travis gathered with their guests in the cell block reception space for a southern-style BBQ lunch. We love seeing couples put their personal touch on their menu—and this casual, delicious meal fit the relaxed vibe of the day perfectly.
Sweet Details & Fun Favors
The cake cutting was followed by one of the most unique favors we’ve seen: scratch-off lottery tickets for every guest! It was such a fun way to add a little excitement to the reception and keep everyone smiling.
A Streamer Send-Off
Before heading straight to the airport to kick off their honeymoon, Bailey and Travis wrapped up their day with a streamer send-off—a colorful, joyful way to close out a wedding full of love, laughter, and intention.
