Two Logans, one beautiful love story, and 30 of their favorite people.
Yes, you read that right. Logan married Logan!
Exactly one year before their wedding day, Logan and Logan visited The Historic Dallas Jail and booked their October wedding. They knew what they wanted: something intimate, meaningful, and a little different from the traditional big wedding.
With Logan's sister planning a large wedding earlier that same year, the couple decided a big celebration simply wasn't for them. Instead, they wanted to focus on what mattered mostβgetting married surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Our I Do & Dessert Collection, an all-inclusive micro wedding experience featuring a cake and punch reception, was the perfect fit.
An Intimate October Ceremony
On a beautiful October afternoon, 30 of Logan and Logan's closest friends and family gathered at The Historic Dallas Jail in Dallas, North Carolina, to celebrate their marriage.
The couple chose to exchange vows indoors, in front of our historic double fireplace. With its timeless architectural details and intimate atmosphere, the space created a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony.
There is something especially meaningful about a smaller wedding. Every guest is someone who plays an important role in the couple's life, and the entire celebration feels wonderfully personal.
Cocktails in the Courtyard
Following the ceremony, guests made their way into our private courtyard for cocktail hour while the newlyweds enjoyed family portraits.
The courtyard provided the perfect place for everyone to mingle, congratulate the couple, and enjoy the October afternoon.
One of our favorite things about hosting intimate weddings is the natural flow of the celebration. With fewer guests and a thoughtfully planned timeline, couples have more opportunities to enjoy the people who came to celebrate with them.
Cake & Punch in the Cell Block
After cocktail hour, everyone gathered upstairs in our historic Cell Block Ballroom for a traditional cake and punch reception.
Simple, sweet, and full of charm!
A cake and punch reception is a wonderful way to celebrate a marriage without the formality of a full dinner reception. Guests can enjoy wedding cake, refreshments, and time together while still experiencing the joy and traditions of a wedding day.
For Logan and Logan, it was exactly the celebration they had envisioned.
Intimate by Choice
We often meet couples who feel like they should have a big wedding because that's what everyone expects.
But Logan and Logan are a wonderful reminder that your wedding day doesn't have to follow anyone else's expectations.
They chose an intimate celebration not because they had to, but because it was what they genuinely wanted.
And that's something we love about the couples who choose The Historic Dallas Jail.
Intimate by choice. Meaningful by design.
