Some celebrations feel extra meaningful—and this one was truly special to us.
We recently welcomed the Gilbert family back to The Historic Dallas Jail for a “Tiny Toes & Pretty Bows” baby shower, celebrating the upcoming arrival of their baby girl. But what made this day even more memorable is that three years ago, the Gilberts hosted the very first event in our space—a baby shower for Hudson.
To see them return, now growing their family again, is exactly why we restored this building in the first place.

From celebrating baby Hudson to now welcoming a little girl, this baby shower felt like a continuation of their story—one we’re honored to be a small part of.
Tiny Toes & Pretty Bows
The theme was soft, sweet, and full of feminine details.
Everything was styled in shades of pink with delicate bows woven throughout the decor. The space felt warm, inviting, and perfectly on theme—creating that cozy, intimate atmosphere we love for showers.
Guests gathered, caught up with one another, and settled in for a relaxed afternoon celebrating the growing family.

Guests enjoyed light bites and sweet treats while mingling, followed by opening the most adorable gifts for baby girl.
One of our favorite touches? A diaper raffle that used our vintage bassinet to collect entries—such a creative and fitting way to tie the space into the celebration.
